Eva Milic
Eva Milic is the weather presenter for Nine Gold Coast News.
Milic completed a Bachelor of Business degree in 2001 after graduating from St Michael’s College on the Gold Coast.
In 2001, Milic was also crowned Miss World Australia and competed for the Miss World title in South Africa. While there, she explored South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe and was lucky enough to also met Nelson Mandela.
On returning to Australia, Milic modelled in Sydney and Brisbane before embarking on a career in journalism two years later.
Milic graduated from Griffith University with a Master of Journalism and Mass Communication degree in 2005. She also received awards in academic excellence.
It was during her studies in January 2004 that Milic was offered a freelance position with Nine Gold Coast News.
She took over from Natalie Gruzlewski as the program’s full-time weather presenter in January 2006. Alongside her weather presenting commitments, she is also a reporter for Nine Gold Coast News.
Outside her journalism commitments, Milic has a keen interest in property and has renovated a number of homes in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast over the past seven years.
