Josh Fajzullin
Whether it’s cheese, charm or just a bit of cheekiness, Fajzullin puts his own stamp on his stories.
He joined the EXTRA team in June 2007.
Fajzullin began in radio in 2003 writing sports updates for radio 4BH 882.
He went on to work at the Australiasian Retail Radio Network, learning the art of announcing, panelling, voice overs, and hourly news bulletins.
By the time Fajzullin graduated in 2004 from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Creative Industries in Journalism, Film and Television, and Theatre Studies, he landed his first job in television.
Working for regional broadcaster WIN News Rockhampton as a reporter for two years, Fajzullin tackled the areas of general news, sport, producing and presenting.
He then returned to his birthplace of Brisbane to work for the ABC as a newsreader, editor and producer broadcasting to digital platforms including ABC 2 and the Internet.
Since working for Channel 9, Fajzullin has also reported for Brisbane’s National Nine News.
Outside of work, Fajzullin leads a very active and social life. He enjoys music, film, sports, the outdoors and catching up with family and friends.
